In preparation of the effective date of February 21, 2025, the Michigan Department of Labor and Economic Opportunity hosted a webinar last week on the paid leave portion of the Earned Sick Time Act (ESTA). It is important to note that ALL Michigan employers that have one or more employee, excluding employees of the United States Government, are covered by this act.
