Online Resources & Opportunities
April 20-24th
To Our Valued Green Industry Members:
During the beginning of this spring season, we know you’d rather be out in the field. However, we want to make it as easy as possible for you to work from home, bringing you online resources and opportunities for each day of the week to learn. We will make an effort to cover a variety of different topics, at no cost to you. If you know of something to share, let us know! Meanwhile, here’s what you’ll find this coming week:
Pesticide Applicators' Renewal
The Governor this morning issued an Executive Order extending permits for commercial applicators, private applicators, and registered applicators that were set to expire on December 31, 2019 until 60 days after the end of the declared states of emergency and disaster. Here is the Executive Order (EO) and the Pesticide EO FAQ with quite a bit of additional, helpful information.

Managing Perennial Crops During Shelter-in-Place
By: Paul Pilon, Perennials Solutions Consulting
This is a Q&A discussion and not your typical webinar presentation. Paul will be having conversations about how to manage perennials and other crops during the shelter-in-place we’re living in. Bring your questions on fertility, water management, PGRs, plant maintenance, and more. He’ll share his perspectives of what he's seeing (more like hearing) in the industry and discuss what short- and long-term implications this crisis is having on the perennial industry. A lot could change before the event (hopefully for the better), but you're encouraged to attend and bring your questions and comments. It’ll be both fun and informative.
