Job Overview:

As a Professional Gardener, you will help install, maintain, and care for gardens and landscaped areas at various commercial and residential properties. Your work will create inviting, well-kept environments. If you love plants and creating beautiful landscapes, this job is for you!

Key Responsibilities:

Your responsibilities will vary from week to week, depending on the season and specific project length. You will be involved with, or lead small teams in, the following areas:

  • Assisting in the cultivation of a variety of flowers (annuals and perennials)
  • Assisting in garden bed installation and maintenance.
  • Mulching and lawn care.
  • Pruning and trimming.
  • Assisting in identification and management of pests
  • Assisting in disease prevention and maintenance of overall plant health
  • Seasonal plantings for autumn, Christmas, or spring.
  • Seasonal tasks like light or decoration installation.
  • Winter preparation, including protecting plants.
  • Design assistance and layout for landscapes.
  • General maintenance such as weeding, lawn mowing, and leaf and debris removal.

Requirements:

  • A genuine love for the great outdoors and all things green.
  • A can-do attitude and willingness to get your hands dirty and your brow sweaty.
  • Ability to work in various weather conditions because, let's face it, Mother Nature plays by her own rules!
  • Team player mentality with a sprinkle of independence - we work together, but we also trust you to rock it solo when needed.
  • Ready to jump in and perform manual tasks like lifting, bending, pushing, stretching, pulling, and walking.
  • Willingness to work in the early morning, late evenings, or weekends (sometimes).
  • Valid license and reliable transportation


These are full or part time positions, working regular business hours. Pay rate is competitive and depends on experience. We offer a highly professional and committed work environment that includes benefits, training programs, and educational reimbursement

Experience

  • Candidates must possess a strong knowledge of annual and perennial plant material.
  • Knowledge of proper pruning practices.
  • Experience working on residential landscapes is preferred.
  • Crew management experience is desired.
  • Gardening: 2 years (Required)        
  • Driver's License (Required)
