1. MDARD Announces Proposed Inspection Fee Changes for 2026
On an annual basis, the Michigan Dept. of Agriculture and Rural Development proposes inspection fee increases based on the Consumer Price Index for Fiscal Year 2025. These proposed increases will be presented to and decided on by the MI Commission of Agriculture and Rural Development, with an effective date of January 1, 2026 if approved.
